David Ragan wins pole for the Subway Firecracker 250

David Ragan subbing for Matt Tifft, wins the pole at Daytona International Speedway. After an hour rain delay, Ragan made all two rounds of qualifying to earn the top spot. Austin Dillon was 2nd, Erik Jones 3rd, Joey Logano 4th, Daniel Suarez 5th, Darrell Wallace Jr 6th, Justin Allgaier 7th, Brennan Poole 8th, Elliott Sadler 9th, and Corey Lajoie rounded out the top 10 starting spots. Carl Long, Derrike Cope, and Mike Harmon did not qualify for the event. The race is scheduled to get underway shortly after 7:30pm EST tonight.
