Briar's Top 5 From The Truck Race At Eldora

1. Bobby Pierce: Although he may not have won the race. Pierce put up a great fight by leading 102 laps until his right rear tire went away, leading him to a 25th place finish. Pierce a young 19 year old, gained a lot of new fans tonight for putting on a great show.

2. Kyle Larson: Another fan favorite scored his second career win tonight. Larson rebounded with a flat tire for himself as well. Even without the flat tire, he had a solid truck which was in the top 5 for most of the night.

3. Rico Abreu: Day started off poorly by having to go the last chance qualifier. He ended up finishing second in that qualifier, but with the help of cautions, and a couple of wrecks. Abreu rebounded to finish third.

4. Jake Griffin: Griffin doesn't get much truck, or NASCAR racing experience at all. The dirt track star showed and proved his skills tonight by finishing in top 5.

5. Cole Custer: Custer went a lap down early in this event, but like Abreu, he came back to finish in the top 10.

Honorable Mention: Cameron Hayley: Hayley doesn't have that much dirt experience at all, even though he competed in this race last year, Hayley came home in the 7th position. A solid drive for the Canadian.
