"The Big Cat" Brad Sweet Claims Night Two At Devil's Bowl Speedway

The World Of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series was at Devil's Bowl Speedway for the sprint car finale. After coming up short on Friday night, Brad Sweet claimed redemption and won night number two at Devil's Bowl.

Sweet's night started off in qualifying where he lad down a lap time of 13.771, which put Sweet in second place after qualifying was over. This ultimately, put Sweet in heat race number two. With a fast car, he would win the second heat race and was put in the World Of Outlaws Craftsman Dash. The field was inverted with six cars in the dash, with David Gravel starting on the pole. Sweet's run wasn't that great, however, as he would finish in the fourth position.

After finishing fourth in the dash, Sweet started fourth in the 30 lap A-Main feature that would pay $20,000 to win. Just like last night, there would be a caution in the early going with 23 laps to go, as Brady Bacon went sideways on the frontstretch. After the caution, Gravel set the pace and started to pull away from Sweet. However, lap traffic began to come in to play with 16 laps to go and this allowed Brad Sweet to pull in closer to the leader.

Finally, with four laps to go, Sweet passed Gravel for the lead and ultimately the race win.

This would Brad Sweet's second World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series win of the year.
